Rebecca and her husband were wonderful. The apartment is gorgeous and very neat. It has a lot of charm. Rebecca and her husband were very attentive to our needs. We would love to be back. Elana
My boyfriend and I were forced to delay our plans of backpacking through the White Mountains due to constant rain; luckily, we found Stone Mountain House and contacted Rebecca. She emailed us back right away letting us know we could come stay for a few days until the rain passed. We were delighted to find ourselves in a full apartment above the art gallery where Rebecca and Brad live and work. The apartment itself was amazing, with tons of books to read, TV and DVD player (although we didn’t use them since we were out poking around), and a full kitchen to cook at home (coffee and cream in the fridge was a thoughtful and much appreciated touch). The entire place is beautifully decorated with artwork everywhere. We enjoyed a few local hikes and outings, thanks to their suggestions. We especially enjoyed checking out Saco Pottery and visiting the Stone Mountain Arts Center nearby. We would happily return to Stone Mountain House and highly recommend it.
We loved staying at your place. Thanks for offering such a roomy, comfy, cool and affordable place so near to SMAC. I DO wish our labs could have tagged along, but we will definitely be back in any case. It was terrific.
